Regional Rail Lines Still Suspended

SEPTA is working to restore service to four Regional Rail lines that remain suspended due to flooding and other issues from Hurricane Irene.

Service on the Cynwyd, Paoli/Thorndale, and Trenton lines is suspended as a result of Amtrak suspending much of its service along the Northeast corridor, although many of Amtrak’s line have been resumed. SEPTA’s Manayunk Norristown is down due to flooding and there is no timetable for it to resume.

SEPTA also has detours on a total of 43 bus routes due to high water, down trees, wires and flooding. The Market-Frankford Nite Owl will also have a detour around 48th and Walnut because of a tree down.
