WEST PHILADELPHIA – Gov. Tom Corbett has asked the U.S. Small Business Administration to provide disaster relief for the victims of a West Philadelphia apartment fire earlier this month.
The Jan. 10 blaze at the Windermere Court Apartments at 48th and Walnut streets left more than 100 residents homeless. If approved, residents would be eligible for low-interest loans up to $200,000.
