The athletic director of Roman Catholic High School was accused late last week of engaging in “inappropriate conduct” over a computer with a student at Father Judge High School, the archdiocese announced Monday.
Sean Fitzherbert, who according to his LinkedIn page started at the school in July 2013,allegedly “engaged in inappropriate conduct via computer technology with a minor attending Father Judge High School,” according to a news release.
Fitzherbertwas suspended by the school until further notice, the archdiocese said.
“Fitzherbert is currently on administrative leave, meaning that he is relieved of all duties within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia,” the archdiocese said. “Prior to beginning employment at Roman Catholic High School in July 2013, his criminal record checks and child abuse clearances were obtained.”
Prior to joining the school district,Fitzherbert worked as a financial advisor for Wells Fargo from 2008 to 2010, according to LinkedIn. He’s worked as a realtor since 2007.
Both the Father Judge and Roman Catholic communities received notice of the allegations Monday afternoon.
