Shooting hearing postponed

On Tuesday, state House Republicans shut down an amendment to close the “Florida loophole” that enables those denied Pennsylvania gun permits to get them from Florida. Yesterday, the preliminary hearing for an accused murderer who allegedly got his weapon through that loophole was postponed until Nov. 30.

Marqus Hill is accused of shooting 18-year-old Irving Santana 13 times on Sept. 12. Hill claims Santana was trying to steal his car.
