Hollywood came to Philadelphia Monday night for a special screening of 'I Play Rocky' at the Philadelphia Film Center.
Actor Anthony Ippolito, who portrays Sylvester Stallone, joined co-star AnnaSophia Robb, who plays Stallone’s wife, Sasha, and Academy Award-winning director Peter Farrelly on the red carpet ahead of the screening.
Farrelly reflected on the experience of filming atop the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, saying he could feel Rocky’s spirit in the place forever linked to the beloved film franchise.
Inside, a packed auditorium welcomed the cast and crew. Farrelly spoke about the privilege of bringing the story to the big screen and celebrating the underdog spirit that has become synonymous with Philadelphia.
'I Play Rocky' opens in select theaters Nov. 6, and expands to theaters everywhere Nov. 20.
