Jose Williams, 49, is charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting a man in the face after a birthday party around 7 p.m. Tuesday at the airport Sheraton, police said.

Reports say the shooting occurred after an argument following a baby’s birthday party.

After the shooting, Williams fled from the hotel, over the fences to the Philadelphia International Airport, across the runway and into a taxi waiting lot, where cab drivers closed the gate and pointed him out to cops, reports say.

The victim, 34, is in critical condition.
