Teen Shot After Kensington Fight

Police are investigating the shooting of a teen in Kensington last night.

The boy, 19, got into a physical altercation with an unknown man on the 800 block of East Tioga Street around 8 p.m. His opponent opened fire, striking him multiple times in the torso.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he is in stable condition, by an unknown driver in a silver or gray Buick LeSabre or Lincoln sedan. Investigators do not believe the motorist to be a suspect in the crime, a spokeswoman said.

Police have not yet made any arrests.
