Three separate shootings in West Philly Wednesday afternoon and evening left two dead and one injured, police say.
The first shooting, which reportedly took place near the intersection of North Redfield Street and Girard Avenue around 2 p.m. left one man with a shotgun wound to the shoulder. He was later pronounced dead at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
The second shooting occurred around 7:50 p.m. and reportedly took place on North Redfield Street and left the victim with a gunshot wound to the head. This victim was also taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and pronounced dead.
The third shooting took place shortly after the second shooting around 8 p.m. at 60th and Manning streets and left one man with a gunshot wound to the head. He was also taken Penn Presbyterian Medical Center in critcal condition.
Police have no suspects and have not said if the shootings are connected.
