A cat that was bagged and tossed into the trash was rescued by an Upper Darby garbage man this week.
The live, healthy-looking cat was “tossed into a trash bag, sealed and thrown out with yesterday’s trash,” the Providence Animal Center announced Tuesday on their Facebook page. “She’s our miracle kitten saved thanks to a conscientious Upper Darby trash man.”
The animal center named the cat Grundgetta, after the girlfriend of beloved “Sesame Street” characterOscar the Grouch, wholives in a trash can by choice.
