Police are seeking the public’s help identifying the man who robbed at gunpoint a convenience store in the Garden Court neighborhood of West Philadelphia last weekend.
The armed robbery happened about 12:50 a.m. Feb. 22 at Garden Court Eatery & Beer, located at 4725 Pine St., according to Philadelphia police.
Police posted video to YouTube on Wednesday morning that shows the suspect pull a handgun, hop over the checkout counter, point the gun at a clerk, and steal an undetermined amount of cash from the register and several packs of Newport cigarettes.
Police described the suspect as black and about 25 years old. He was wearing a red or orange, hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans, and he appeared to have a beard.
