Now the good folks at Buzzfeed have paid tribute to Wawain a new music videodestined to go viral around Pennsylvania and South Jersey. Called “15 reasons Wawa is more than just a convenience store,” and posted under the alternate title, “Why Wawa is everything you need in this otherwise cruel world,” the hypnotic video is set to thumping dance music backing a series of Wawa facts and trivia. There are currently 99 entries underCraigslist ‘s Missed Connections section that include a reference to Wawa. Some of them are for hoagies, Buzzfeed says. When legendary Phillies manager Charlie Emanuel was fired, in a photograph of him leaving the stadium he can be seen clutching a Wawa plastic bag.
Wawa sells about 70 million hoagies a year.
Wawa is 29 percent owned by its employees.
