Whether it be floral, fruity or just a fun sip or bite, Philly is bursting with spring cocktails, drinks and dishes for all tastebuds.

Aqimero

Aqimero’s Viva Abejos menu additions (available until April 22) are added annually every year by Chef Richard Sandoval to raise awareness for the importance of pollinators like bees. On the menu for 2025, Philadelphians can find a duo of delightful cocktails in the form of a Honey Lavender Margarita ($19, blanco tequila, lime, honey lavender, crème de violette and Alma Finca Orange Liqueur), and the Orchard Sidecar ($19, Abasolo Whisky and Alma Finca Orange Liqueur).

Food-wise, Viva Abejas boasts Coconut Tuna Ceviche ($20, made with fresh tuna, red onion, mint, radish, cucumber, avocado, Fresno chili, and toasted coconut then finished with orange blossom honey), and a Charred Avocado Salad ($16, rainbow quinoa, pea puree, radish, serrano, Meyer lemon confit and bee pollen). Proceeds from these dishes will go to The World Bee Project.

A fun way to experience it all is through the venue’s Boozy Tea Experience, set to take place Saturday, April 12 and Sunday, April 13. This tasting event is meant to be immersive for guests, with live DJ entertainment, crafted tea cocktails, and a tasting menu showcasing the many flavors of the kitchen. Reservations for Boozy Tea can be made via OpenTable or through Aqimero’s official site.

Craftsman Row Saloon

Every few months, Craftsman Row Saloon changes its decor (and parts of its menu) to match the season, with spring bringing the “Full Bloom” pop-up. On top of the botanical atmosphere (and this locale definitely goes all out in that regard), diners can also indulge in new cocktails ($16) like the Orange Blossom (orange vodka, lime and cranberry), Wandering Wild Mule (Jameson, lime and ginger in a keepsake mug), and Peach Fizz Margarita (tequila, Campari, lime and peach).

Fresh dishes include picks like the Spring Shrimp Sandwich and Budding Chicken Alfredo, and there’s also a new Orange Creamsicle “insane shake” ($19) in the form of local vanilla ice cream, an orange swirl, house-made sugar cookies and candied oranges.

Fishtown Pickle Project + Poi Dog

Chef and writer Kiki Aranita of Poi Dog and Fishtown Pickle Project have teamed up for a unique (and briney) springtime creation. Aloha Pickles ($14.99) are the new “crunchy, tangy, slightly-spicy pickles” inspired by the flavors found in Poi Dog’s Chili Peppah Water. The vegan and gluten-free bites are made by infusing fresh ginger, Fresno chili peppers, and hibiscus flowers into the brine where crunchy Kirby cucumbers marinate in a base of white vinegar, rice vinegar, salt, garlic, coriander and onion. These slightly spicy spears are tinged a vibrant fuschia from the hibiscus flowers as well.

Those who want to nab some of these salty treats can head to both Riverward’s Produce locations (in Old City and Fishtown), or ship them nationwide through FPP’s official site.

The Rittenhouse

There’s nothing that says spring quite like some floral teas, and The Rittenhouse is capitalizing on that idea with two different experiences. The Bunnies & Bonnets Afternoon Tea will be in full swing on April 12 and 13 with two sessions at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Taking place in the Mary Cassatt Tea Room, the experience will feature specialty treats, refreshing teas and a “cozy story time.” Tickets ($90) are available online.

Then, from April 22 to 28, the Tea Room Pop-up Menu will be available at The Library Bar. The activation will boast a curated selection of fine teas alongside signature craft cocktails, exquisite wines and rare spirits.
