Police said a driver fled the scene after fatally striking a 39-year-old woman late Sunday night in Feltonville.
Officers responded just before 11:45 p.m. to C and Ruscomb streets, an intersection with a four-way stop. They found Sharmain Serrano, and medics took her to Einstein Medical Center, where she died at around 12:20 a.m. Monday, according to authorities.
Investigators said Serrano was in the crosswalk when she was hit by a grey sedan heading south on C Street. Police did not provide further details about the driver or vehicle.
